As with any school, drop off and pick up times can be tricky. However, if we all follow the guidelines below, we can make sure they run as smoothly as possible:

- At no time should anyone park on the yellow cross hatchings outside the front of school. That area has been identified as the safe walking point for children coming to and from school. By parking on the cross-hatchings, you are endangering the children by forcing them to find alternative crossing points or by blocking their view of oncoming traffic.

- Please be respectful of local residents and avoid turning round in or blocking their drives. This is unfair on them and causes issues between the school and the residents. Please also be respectful in your interactions with them. There is no need to turn around in residents' drives as the whole area has plenty of natural turning routes as demonstrated on the map below. The time difference of following these routes rather than turning in someone's drive is a matter of a couple of minutes.

- Equally, if a resident is not respectful in their interactions with you, please let the school know straight away and we will resolve in order to avoid any difficulties.

- Parking for drop off and pick up should only be on the same side of the road as the school. Please do not park on the opposite side of the road from the school, especially in the section with the bus shelter, as this causes huge traffic issues and makes crossing the road very dangerous for the children.

- In Green Lane, there are areas that have been designated as no parking for safety reasons. Please ensure you follow these instructions and do not park on these areas.
